Braided is a portrait of my mare Roxie, a black & white Tennessee Walking Horse. She makes a great painting subject. This little 8" x 10" oil painting on gallery-wrapped canvas was sold to someone who'll give it to their horse-loving grandchild as a gift, so the painting found a wonderful home. Speaking of home, we're in the midst of moving--Roxie's already been moved to her new stables & we'll be following her at the end of this week. My husband & I had to both agree--no art, until this move is done! Can't wait until we get the studio set up, and I can start painting again. You can see more of my work at
